Theo knew himself well enough to know that he wasn't doing a good job of hiding his reaction to the nickname Rabastan had used. He also knew that Rabastan did it to annoy him, and he refused to give him the satisfaction of a reaction. Well, more of a reaction than the sneer he couldn't stop from forming.
"The Powers that Be have not been very forth-coming with explanations," he said, maintaining distance between them, though he sat back down. It would be too obvious a tell if he remained standing. If he'd learned anything during that year, it was to not show fear. His hand was still itching to go for his wand, but that instinct he was at least able to ignore. For the moment, anyway. It could be in his hand in an instant if Rabastan seemed about to do anything...Rabastan-like. "Neither have the other residents for the most part but I think it's because they don't know anything."
He paused for a moment, studying the other man. He looked...healthier than the last time he'd seen him, though it was hard to gauge his age. He wasn't any younger than he'd been, but Theo couldn't be certain when he was from. Unless he asked. Since he couldn't think of any harm it could do, he did.
