"Ah. So more like a cell phone for magic. I see." Senku completely ignored the compliment as he really wasn't fishing for nine. He knew what he was good for and what he did and he wasn't asking for Theo to compliment him. That just wasn't who he was. "A molecule is what makes up the universe. Every single thing is made up of molecules. They're a group of atoms stuck together, forming both complex and simple compounds. Once you know the chemical make up of something, it can go a long way towards knowing how it works."
He did make a note about the wand, though, wondering on his own if there was something he could do to help his friend (because that's how Senku saw Theo now) in case something were to happen.
He paused, looking around briefly at their surroundings. He reached out a moment later, plucking a leaf from the nearby plant. "For example. This leaf may seem just like a leaf. As you noted we are in Scotland, it's about the right time of year. It's a camellia sinensis leaf. Ten thousand points if you can tell me what it's used for. As you're British, I can give you a small hint about what you would use it for."
