He watched with calculating eyes as Theo cast the spells, trying to memorise what he was seeing in the rare off chance that it could be reproduced. Experiments made science, after all. "Fascinating! You would have made life in the stone world so much easier. I managed to make ramen and even cell phones, but definitely not like what we have. They didn't have wheat, so I had to make do with what grains I could find to make noodles. But, the effort paid off, even if it took man power and months of labor." He grinned. "And our cell phones were closer to walkie talkies than smart phones, but it did what we needed it to do."
It was an incredible feat for anyone to have made technological advances in a world that had nothing of the sort, but Senku liked to understand the world around him. He questioned everything. If someone told him the moon was white, he asked why and wanted to know the science behind it. It was just the sort of man that he was. "Clockwise? Why clockwise in particular? But I'm game. Sounds like a good plan. I'll continue with our map making. As much as your magic does, well, I trust my hand a bit more."
He gave Theo a slightly apologetic look, then shrugged and kept going. The wand itself was interesting. A device used to channel this magic. As they walked, Senku was curious. "So that. What is it? A sort of energy channel for your magic? Can you do magic without it?"
