Dina did roll her eyes. She had no intention of only giving Ellie five minutes. She would listen and leave if she felt like it was too much. She still loved her so much and despite her anger towards Ellie, that didn't change the deep love she felt for her. Love she'd felt for her for a very long time, even if she hadn't admitted it to herself until she'd kissed her that night at the dance. It wasn't something she truly understood herself, even despite her irrational dislike for Cat, Ellie's girlfriend for a time. She'd been with Jesse, but there had always been this connection she'd had with Ellie. Feelings she'd had even if she hadn't really understood them.
Those words made Dina's heart ache. She'd missed her girlfriend since she'd slipped out in the darkness to finish the journey of revenge that had already nearly destroyed her. Since she'd pleaded with Ellie to stay, to not let Abby be more important than their family. Tears welled up in her brown eyes and she stared at her own feet for a few more seconds. She didn't trust herself to speak right now. She knew if she tried, she would ultimately cry. But she'd known she would end up crying during this conversation anyway. She just hadn't expected it to happen so immediately.
Dina took a deep, shaky breath and lifted her eyes to Ellie's.
"You left us." She said, her words laced with all the pain and emotion she had felt for all these months now. "I begged you to stay. To not let her be more important than our family. But you just left, Ellie. You left."
Dina's tears were sliding down her cheeks now. She couldn't keep them at bay. She might be mad at Ellie, but she was still in pain. She still loved her more than anything.
"I blame Tommy. I do. but I blame you too, Ellie. I love you, that hasn't changed, but you don't get to just come back and tell me you love me and you're sorry and think that it fixes everything."
