Another creature she could not identify, she was sure of it. That did not mean it was not lovely to look upon in an entirely different way than the one she had encountered in the greenhouse. Violet eyes regarded the person curiously as if trying to figure them out. Something else. Something more. It appeared today was that day, didn't it?
She could not tell if she was looking at a man or a woman, not that it much mattered. There was nothing about them that wasn't pleasing. That much was distracting enough for Yennefer.
"Taking the cold," she answered honestly, seeing no reason to lie to this person she'd just met. And while she held a mild disdain for most humans, she wasn't going to go out of her way to be cruel. "Is this a daily ritual or just a special one for the day?" The day being what the card in the basket had referred to as 'Valentine's Day'. While she wasn't fully familiar with the contents of the basket, it wasn't hard to figure out what they were for.
Then there was that distractingly aching need that started building up again. There were times when she wished to indulge in carnal pleasures, but she preferred them on her own terms. She'd sought solitude for this reason, once she felt her need building again.
