"If you lose, it disappears. You'll never get it." Stephen smiled. That was a lie. Loki could honestly ask for the gift right then and there and Strange would have immediately caved and handed it over. But there was little fun in that and the sorcerer acknowledged this. So he'd at least pretend that there would be consequences.
Stephen was already pulling himself out of bed and getting dressed. Though today, he'd be lacking his sorcerer attire. No cape, no empty amulet. He'd wear the hotel-given clothes, but he at least tried to look nice. He didn't care about Valentine's Day, but he did care about Loki. And this was sort of a date, so half-assing his appearance wasn't an option.
Once they were dressed, he'd press a kiss to Loki's cheek. "Do you accept my challenge?" Because he hadn't yet, officially. But hopefully, the curiosity of what it was would be enough to make him say yes.
