Hux's heart was pounding in his chest, his lungs heaving with labored breath. For a moment, he simply remained where he was, trying to recover. The wave had passed, aftershocks were firing off throughout his body. And eventually, he'd push himself up off the floor. He'd clean himself up, smooth down his ruffled hair. He'd put himself back together just enough to face Ben.
He'd finally open the door, but he wouldn't turn on any additional lights. Hux brought a hand towel for Ben, dropping onto his stomach as he rounded the mattress. Without a word, he'd come to rest beside him on the bed. As promised, he wouldn't touch him. He'd simply lay next to him, just as they'd been doing lately; close enough to feel his body heat, but never initiating physical contact. If Ben bothered to look at him, though, he'd be able to see it, clear in the light pouring in from the bathroom; Hux was smiling.
