Hux leaned to nuzzle another kiss to Poe's cheek, one that was meant to be comforting in nature. Talking about family would forever be a difficult subject, but Hux was grateful that his boyfriend was willing to open up to him, even if it wasn't a lighthearted matter.
"It was meant to be a surprise," Hux spoke, his fingers slipping beneath the covers to trace along the sides of Poe's melted body, "But I was going to take you out for breakfast," he continued, his hands moving lower, "And then, I'd bundle you up, nice and warm and take you horseback riding." Something that, admittedly, Hux knew he'd be terrible at. He wasn't good with animals. Or anything that required simultaneous strength and balance. They didn't even have horses back in their galaxy, though there were similar creatures. Still, he had needed to do a little digging before planning this activity to make sure it was safe.
However, it seemed like something Poe would enjoy. The thrill of going fast, the wind in his hair. Like the rollercoaster. "But I'm sure there will be time for that later, if you'd rather stay in bed.."
