Eddie didn't take long. He'd only been in his room when he spoke with Jinn, settled into the chair by the window. It happened to catch a little bit of sun at the right time of day but now it was mostly just colder there now. He had some kitting in his lap but mostly he'd been ignoring it, poking away at his phone or watching the trees through the window. The last...excursion had hit him hard. Possibly because Bill had gone at the same time, or because Eddie hadn't had a choice to go out into it or not, or because the things he'd been up against, trapped by, (which had looked like spiders but he now knew were scorpions instead) had reminded him so much of Pennywise. Or maybe it was just because all through it, he couldn't help but be reminded, over and over, that he was only human. He was surrounded by beings so much more, and he would only ever be human, ordinary.
He left his knitting on the end of his bed and tucked his feet into some moccasin-adjacent slippers. Close enough to real shoes but not quite. He noticed Jinn in the empty bar easily, giving him a small wave as he approached and then sitting across from him at the table. They weren't dressed all that differently, Eddie's jeans a bit newer and his shirt long-sleeved, but Eddie hadn't noticed Jinn's feet.
"Hey." He offered, settling in. The empty bar was nice, but at the same time almost eerie. Eddie's stomach twisted just slightly. He'd be glad for the drink. "How've things been?"
