All things considered Sabrina was frustrated - any shreds of growth she thought she experienced while here at the hotel were slipping between her fingers and being replaced by the needy young woman who just wanted to be loved. It was upsetting to feel herself backsliding so thoroughly and knowing all she could do about it was to push through this until she felt more like herself again.
The one similarity between how she would deal with it both back home and here was that Sabrina felt like she didn't really have anyone who she could really talk to about this.
"Whatever, forget that I said anything. The first batch of cookies should be cool enough for us to start assembling the treats," she decided, although the blush rising in her cheeks made it clear she felt a little better thanks to Killian. "Unless you'd rather not help with this part?"
She reached down to pick up a nondescript-looking bag and began pulling boxes out of it. "I enchanted these to make sure the ice cream sammiches stay at the proper temperature until someone takes a bite."
