She would never stop enjoying the sound of his laughter, the warmth of it bringing a smile to her lips. It was one of those sounds that was pleasant while giving off a hint of wickedness, which was kind of Sabrina's aesthetic. Now that she had a few moments to readjust herself to the difference in Killian's resonance, she had let down her guard once again and felt as though she could breathe a little easier. Despite being rather open about who and what she was, she still occasionally worried that someone might react badly to a witch in their midst.
"Oh I see..." Sabrina drawled, taking note of the lightness in his step. "Well, I can't really speak for Salem, as he is very much his own cat, but I still like you," she responded. There was still an awkward sense of disconnection towards Killian in Sabrina's mind due to the lack of overt darkness about him, but she was working on pushing past all that since she truly did feel a kinship towards Killian that she desperately wanted to keep.
She would take time later to mourn the loss of the one person who seemed to genuinely understand and empathize with the duality inside she struggled against.
Gesturing over at the counter, she nodded towards a sheet pan next to a bowl of cookie dough. "I've got big plans for the cookies - that dough there is basic chocolate chip, but Audrey gave me a recipe for double chocolate cookies that will need to be made as well. My big idea is to cheer everyone up by gifting them with treats."
