He had his boots back. And his phone. Weird how he hadn’t missed it. But it was nice to have the comfort of immediate communication back in his hand. And his tender toes were glad to be protected again. Ben had spent too long in the shower so his skin was a bit pickled still by the time he rushed into the bar right before Phasma, the ends of his hair still wet as well. But he was clean and that was all that mattered.
Phasma and Hux obviously had the same idea. It was amusing to see them both looking so scrubbed and washed. And Phasma didn’t have her shoes on! Ben noticed that immediately, of course. He smiled at her bare feet. “Did I start a trend?”
Her promise for drinks was immediate and Ben followed her with Hux over to the bartop. Phasma appeared bright like a freshly charged laser cannon. Even Hux looked lighter than usual. Ben didn’t know exactly what it was but somehow, when the three of them were together, even he felt .....content.
Leave it to Phasma to call their latest near brush with death and calamity just another mission. But Ben took his glass as well, eager to try out the game. “I’ve heard of it. Never played.” He started with taking the bottle Phasma had brought down and poured himself a hefty amount before sliding it back onto the counter. “You start us off then, Captain. What have you never done?”
