Who: Mike Enslin, Richie Tozier
What: uh oh spider-os?
Where: A cluster of abandoned homes
When: During the plot, evening
Status: On-going
Warnings: I mean, like. Bugs?
This had been a pretty eventful week, in terms of hotel living. Probably because there was no hotel involved, really. It was like they were living in a state-sized version of Honey I Shrunk the Kids and it was -- a lot more dangerous than that movie had assumed it’d be. Or, well, it was for some people. Mike had the advantage of nothing in particular being a danger because he could be intangible any time he liked. It made him kind of a great distraction for those who weren’t so lucky to be dead. He still couldn't say he liked the views, though. Seeing parts of bugs that were usually too small to see was not a boon. Zero out of ten, bugs were quite possibly alien. He and Rich probably could have stuck around in one of the bigger camps -- chilled out with power and expired convenience store canned food and a ton of people milling about but it was feeling a bit crowded and they’d both kind of just needed the space. If space was just a street full of abandoned homes and, so far, no insects in sight. “Home buying has never been so easy in California,” he said, bumping shoulders with Richie. “Any tickle your fancy?” |
