"Haven't met a god-like entity yet that didn't like to play rough with it's toys," Gabriel kept half of his attention on Jinn as he got up, just to make sure he actually could, but the rest of his attention was on parsing through some of the rubble until he found what he wanted. There were still a couple in-tact bowling balls scattered over the ground and he took one in his spare hand after looking for any signs of damage. No better way to really send home a punch than to add a bowling ball to the equation.
"Praying mantis will eat anything. Even each other. So if I draw them away and manage to kill or injure any of them they'll probably go for the easier meal anyway. Should be easy enough If you think you have it in you to get away while they're busy."
Jinn was in bad shape but Gabriel knew he was more than human and even weakened creatures like them could still manage some exceptional feats of endurance at their most injured. Still. If the plan worked like he hoped it might he could probably swing back around and assist him the rest of the way to a safer location to heal. Provided the beasties weren't more than he was anticipating.
"You just tell me when you think you can actually manage to get stepping long enough for me to get this party started. I'm not really into sacrificing myself again so I'll only drag things out as long as I need to. That sound more your speed?"
