"Heh. Praying mantises. Gotta appreciate the irony in that," his lips twitched into a smirk. Couldn't help himself sometimes, even if he was pretty sure Jinn didn't appreciate the humor at the moment. It wasn't as if he wasn't aware of the average pagan's feelings on the Heavenly Host. He'd pretended to be a part of there world for quite a few centuries. Didn't hold it against them, really. Not like some of his siblings might have anyway.
"Easiest way might just be for me to draw all the attention so you can slip away. That means I won't have your back if any other beasties get the jump on you, though. Option two is you sit tight while I go out there and do all the dirty work and option three is we go out together and I do my best to make sure they don't get at what's left of you. Normally I'd just fly us both out of here and we'd be on our merry way but the powers that be aren't letting me do a lot of the things I normally could." It was frustrating, but not as frustrating as when he'd been out of his mind and nearly powerless. So he'd take what he could get.
"It's your life on the line," Gabriel shrugged, and slipped his archangel blade from his sleeve into his hand as he heard something forcing itself rather aggressively against one of the doors. "I'll let you decide what kind of chances you'd like to take."
