He had been nearly finished redressing himself after a brief swim in the pool when he suddenly found himself transported outside of the hotel. At first, he was only confused but grateful that he'd had the hindsight to put on his pants first, his mother's lightsaber attached to his belt. He had been in the middle of pulling the long-sleeved black shirt that he'd arrived in over his head so it was startling to look out through the collar and discover he was in the middle of the unfamiliar woods. There'd been an uneasy drop to his stomach when he'd been shifted but he'd attributed it to hunger.
But apparently, someone was into playing games.
It didn't take Ben long to realize where he was. The hotel was in the distance, though not too far that he couldn't run and reach it in a few minutes. He could vaguely make out others near the hotel entrance so at least he knew it wasn't just him that had been misplaced. Or kicked out, which was the more likely explanation. He'd gone for high ground first to try and get a better lay of the area. With no shoes, unfortunately, it took him a few minutes for his feet to adjust to the unforgiving ground. Thankfully, he was able to find a building with smooth concrete. It was abandoned and could have once been used to fuel ships and trucks. Many, many years ago. Where the galaxy was he?
But he wasn't daunted in the least. In fact, he was thrilled. Finally, somewhere new. And overgrown. He climbed up the building quickly, eager to take in what he could before trying to head back to the hotel. It would be just his luck to be left behind because he'd been too curious. Once he reached the roof, and after taking a moment to catch his breath, he walked to each side and took in what he could of every direction. But the surveying was cut short when he spotted movement to the east. A familiar head of redhair.
Oh. He was running from something. A big something.
Ben was on the ground in a heartbeat. Though the landing left him a bit shaky, he managed to sprint across the cracked concrete in just enough time to slide next to Hux before the giant insectoid could attack. With one hand, he Force-pushed the creature back into the nearest tree while he used his other hand to try and pull Hux back to his feet. "Why are you alone!" He used the spare moment to look the man over, making sure there were no immediate problems like an open wound or a broken bone. Well. Hux looked fine. Good. "Do you have a weapon?"
