Overall Kurama could be considered the laid back sort, rarely seeming to worry or hurry about his business unless he saw a very good reason to. Even his reactions to odd things, like showing up in a supposedly ghost-haunted hotel, didn't throw him as much as it probably should for being "human." True, he had missed a brochure and a map in his confusion early on, but he hadn't freaked out and was smart enough to ask for help.
Yet he was also the sort who didn't sit idly when he thought something needed doing. Such as trying to meet more of the hotel's guests and gaining any bit of information they had, whether small, seemingly useless, or insightful. Everything could be useful eventually.
So Kurama had gotten up early and proceeded to the lobby of the hotel, figuring if what Daphne had said about time shenanigans meant any potential time, some people might avoid a computer network as a means of communication for varied reasons. He also figured the lobby would intersect with almost anywhere, raising his chances to find others.
Having taken a seat in one of the many chairs, chosen to give him as many angles of view as possible, he would wait to see others, smiling at them with the best look of 'I'm still lost and new, please speak to me if you would' to passer-by he can muster, though he never seems to take offense if anyone gives him odd looks or just flat out ignores him.
