Even though he had been the one to offer help with meditating, Ben was still surprised when Richie took him up on it. When he'd made a similar offer to Rey, well, those hadn't exactly been the same circumstances. He also wasn't that same person anymore. At least he was trying not to be. He couldn't blame Rey for turning him down then but it did feel nice to have Richie accept the figurative hand-out.
"It can be ...cool," he agreed, nodding. "Sometimes it was easier knowing that someone before me had already gone through what I was experiencing. Well," Ben winced. "Almost the same thing." He'd never told anyone about Snoke and looking back, that could have been a big mistake on his part. But the voice had been one of comfort, someone he could talk to when he felt no one else was listening. If only he'd known then what he knew now. But then, he supposed everyone had those regrets.
He didn't think Candyland sounded that bad, unless it was completely different than what he was thinking. But he understood the sentiment. "Busy has been my mantra lately. If I could go without sleeping, I would. I'm open to any time though, when you want to try it out. I can't promise it'll be fun but we might be able to see how far the ability of yours goes." Ben touched one of the cards, a feeling of power tingling through his fingers instantly at the contact. "I was thinking of putting down everything that I knew into a book. Maybe you would be willing to help me with some illustrations?"
