Din prickled up a bit as Luke called him out on being annoyed. Normally he wasn't so sensitive, but maybe Din was slightly biased against Luke for being able to speak with Grogu when he couldn't. And even though he had pretty much gotten over that we're-meant-to-be-enemies thing, there was still a tiny bit of his core that was wary of Luke for that very reason.
And he hadn't quite gotten that mental image out of his head of Luke walking away with Grogu, which meant he was bitter over something that hadn't even happened yet in the Jedi's timeline. So that was unfair.
Once again, he would do his best to set these feelings aside. Din knew he was overreacting to the comment and he was just being overprotective of Grogu. Din followed Luke into the greenhouse, his attention never fully leaving him. "Does that mean you have attachments to other people, then?"
Maybe that was too invasive. Din verbally backed off. "I only ask because it was one of the reasons why Ahsoka - the other Jedi - refused to train the kid. Do you know her?"
