Daphne/Din
Din nodded over the question, showing that he'd seen fireworks. Certainly not a ton. He didn't stick around for celebrations all that often, even when he did attend festivals. In fact, that evening would probably be the first time he'd see a fireworks display and enjoy it. Because setting mattered. Company mattered even more.
Grogu made a cheerful sound as Din handed him over, those claws lightly reaching for Daphne's hair. Din paused, gently guiding those tiny mischievous hands away from Daphne's locks. Because he did not want Grogu getting tangled here at the party. But once the kid was back to his wiggle-dancing, Din would really get into the music. Now that he was comfortable with letting his guard down, he wanted to show that he wasn't a total stick in the mud.
And okay, he wasn't great at dancing. He should probably go back to holding the kid. But hey, his heart was in the right place. After making a total fool of himself, though, he'd slip behind Daphne, wrapping his arms around both her and the kid and giving them a playful squeeze. "This is fun," he spoke, leaning in the direction of her ear, "Any holidays next month, by any chance?"
