"No? No ten mile run round the island, or climbing trees? I might need to see if Lyla's projectors got moved ove-"
"They are here, Miguel, and they work. I already ran diagnostics on them and tested them out while you both slept. Would you like me to demonstrate?"
Lyla spoke out of Miguel's watch, not manifesting for the time being. Miguel didn't even look away from Ava as she spoke. "You don't need to demonstrate, Lyla, but thank you for the offer."
