"I'm very glad you know that," Donny answered with a contented nod. Mitch understood her far better than she deserved, but occasionally she needed to make the boundary clear. "You realise if you keep doing that, I will get my own back?" she warned letting her fingers walk onto his belly and sit there like a small, well manicured, spider. "Be very careful what you start, Mitch," she told him with a small, but dangerous, grin.
She gave a nod at his words. "Perhaps it will. I wouldn't say no to another shopping trip, though we may need a room upgrade to store all my stuff," Donny told him with a chuckle. "What did you get for yourself?" she asked Mitch, curious to see what he'd decided to treat himself with.
"I'm glad to hear it," she answered softly, feeling connected to him in a way she hadn't felt for a long time before. Even as she watched the thoughts cross Mitch's face she could almost work out what he was thinking. Almost. When he finally spoke Donny smiled and reached up to kiss him. "I don't know how long this will last, but I want us to be together. I've not felt this connected to someone in a very long time," she said kissing him more deeply.
Donny chuckle and shook her head, "no, not tomorrow. This place will at the very least give us the week in this freezing cold world," she said confidently. "Though I won't wait that long to check out your creation," she assured him. "You didn't give him other...parts?" she asked Mitch, her brows arching in innocence. "We used to use turnips and a parsnip too," she said with a grin. She gave a nod as he considered talking to Derek again. As much as Donny wanted to be his connection here, she knew he needed other people in order to survive. "Sounds like the kind of friend we could all use," she said with a nod.
