"Glad to hear that," he said with a smile. "Of course it is. I didn't think you would actually cheat when it came down to something serious." He had just been messing with her when he said that she cheated. "What fun is it to ask when I can just do it and watch your reaction?" And to prove his point he did it again.
"I know you did." It was pretty hard to miss all of the new things that had been bought. He hadn't gone as crazy as she had, but he was pretty sure they both didn't say no to anything they saw while the mall was around. "Maybe it'll feel unweird the longer we're stuck here."
He did know what she meant, but still, he'd rather hear her say it. "I'm not buying time to think of what I'm going to say." He didn't need to anything like that. This thing did start back in their own world. Would it have continued like this, though, is a whole other question. At some point, they would have had to go their own separate ways. But here, they were not only trapped in a crazy-ass hotel that liked to screw with them but they were sharing a room as well. "I feel the same." He liked her. He liked being with her. And none of it felt wrong.
"You never know," he pointed out. For all they knew it could be Summer tomorrow in this crazy place. "And his eyes, hands, feet." It was something to think about and it wasn't like he totally hated talking to Derek. "Yeah, he didn't really beat around the bush about anything." He could probably talk to the guy more. Time will tell.
