Luke wasn't sure if he should hope for more people he knew to show up or not. He hadn't been here long enough to make any kind of decision about whether or not this place was a blessing or a curse. Han seemed -- not all together pleased with it. But Han had never been one for sitting still. Not to mention the fact that he was slow to admit he was interested in things, some days.
This place was a pretty far cry from even a small city though. Luke wasn't sure how anyone managed to stay entertained. "Imagine that support group," he said with a half smile. Just a bunch of people sitting around sad about how the world wasn't going fast enough for them, really.
"We're going to have to try, you know. We shouldn't just trust that someone else couldn't figure it out," he told Han, squinting at the whip of the wind once they were outside. Deserts got cold at night, but never like this -- it wasn't as bad as Hoth, but Luke didn't have a great track record or threshold. So he took Han's jacket, ducking his head down a little as he slipped it on, too big in the sleeves. "I'm glad you're here."
