Even the Force hadn't been able to predict or show Luke something like this place and he had to admit that he'd done a little wandering before he'd tried giving the communications a try. Enough to go to his assigned room and then back again, although he'd tried being stealthier than had apparently been strictly necessary because Han Solo was just hanging out at the bar nearby.
Of course he was.
Luke hadn't really been still while he waited, not like he said he would. He did have a look under that Life Day tree and inexplicably unearthed his lightsaber. Later he'd have more time to wonder over what else this place had that was already his. But for now, he was more concerned with the conversations he'd had with Rey and Din Djarin. There were Jedi to be trained here. Maybe that was why this place had called him?
He pulled himself away from his thoughts when Han appeared and, at least momentarily, looked every bit the young man he was, eyes bright and reassured smile tugging at his lips. "Took you long enough." At least there were some things that never changed. "I think I'd better get the tour."
