To all outward appearances, Hawke was taking the time to enjoy the air herself. She, too, was used to being out and about more. Mostly solving problems that may, or may not, be actually anything she needed dealing with. Her true motivation was to learn the place, find the easy ways in and out of the hotel and get a solid feel for defensible places. Just in case.
She was also keeping an eye open for any ways out, or at least possibilities she could give to Anders and they could then scope out at later dates.
The place was odd. Considering the grounds it really shouldn't lead to the big market everyone called a mall, but it did. She suspected if she tried making sense of it, she'd just go loopy so she didn't try. But at least it held a good assortment of things. She wasn't fond of that graveyard, she was holding an internal bet when things eventually came out of it, but everything else wasn't awful.
She spotted the person as she neared the archery range, and returned the gesture. She only had the borrowed clothes she'd found in the room they'd been given, and hoped she'd not run into anything that required her armor. She flashed him her best and most friendly smile as she neared. "Hello. Nice night for an evening, isn't it?" She'd never Aveline forget that one, even if she wasn't here, and it was just jovial, and odd, enough to hopefully put her company at ease.
