"Oh, he'd probably like that," she agreed, and the idea of making something did seem to have a bit more of a personal touch. She probably couldn't offer much help without really knowing what it was that he was making, or how it exactly worked, but Ava was curious enough to be there to watch and learn.
Placing the game back down, she instead picked up one of the shopping baskets near the entrance, and dumped some packages of colorful chalk and markers into it. Nothing said she only had to get Bobby one gift. She was overly fond of the little gremlin. She looked over at the block animals that Miguel was holding up and smiled approvingly, holding the basket out for it to be added. "How weird it must be for them. That our animals must look so strange and alien." Then again, Miguel hadn't really grown up with them either.
"Anything with glitter is out after the pinecone incident. Probably doesn't want anything that makes a lot of noises either." She could only assume. "But that little drum kit is really cute." Too bad Bobby's little arms were much to short to properly use it. "What about one of these little science kits...?" she suggested, staring at the front of the box that boasted the ability to grow your own crystals.
