Ava always had a difficult time picturing what Miguel told her of the future, even with Lyla's holograms it never seemed to capture the proper scale of it. She knew it was bigger, that an entire city was built atop of another. Far taller than anything made sense to build. So maybe this wasn't all that impressive to him, but Ava had never set foot in so much as a department store before.
Her eyes darted between each display, realizing quickly she had no idea about modern toys or what kids even liked. Her own childhood had been cut extremely short. And she didn't want that for Bobby. "No clue, only hologram I know is Lyla," she admitted, picking up a colorful box and staring at the age recommendation, not quite sure where Bobby fit on that development scale considering he was of a completely different species. "You think he's about... 2... 5?" she guessed.
Ava made a face at the mention of slime, which turned a bit more curious at discovering it glowed. Glowing sounded neat, and she had a weird desire to poke at it. "Oh, no he'd definitely eat that," she laughed. She gave the board game she was holding a shake. "And this one has too many pieces. They'd probably lose them within a week."
