He heard the sound of footsteps nearing the library. His green eyes peeked over his book and greeted the young woman with a smile. He then placed his index finger into the pages to act as a bookmark, closing the book. He sat up and cleared his throat to speak.
"Good evening, Miss... Lissa, is it? Having trouble sleeping?"
He chuckled, standing from his chair to join alongside her to gaze at the books.
"Anything catching your fancy? I may just ask if I could be the hotel librarian, there's plenty of incredible stories. I've got a murder mystery, myself."
He held up the cover his his book with a smile.
"Can never go wrong with Agatha Christie. Keeps you on the edge of your seat."
