Seeing it was just Louis, he smiled and beckoned his fledgling over. "Ah, this? Don't be too excited, mon cher. It'll work to keep us healthy but a lot of that 'zing' you have when it's fresh is gone," he said with a sigh, leaning against the counter. "I see you've been enjoying the library. This place has quite the amenities. I've stayed in countless hotels but I never really took the time to see what all they offered."
Jerking his head in the direction of the fridge, he glanced downward. "They're in there. It's not dead blood, I can say that much. I"m just grateful I don't have much use for these... I'd probably throw myself into a pyre if I was a fledgling still and had to drink that."
