Who: Bev Marsh and Bill Denbrough Where: Hotel kitchen. When: Very early in the morning, Dec 7th. What: Bev had a nightmare Status: Closed, ongoing. Warnings: Mention of a nightmare. mention of violence in the nightmare.
Bev woke with a start. Her heart was pounding and her hands were clenched into fists, ready to fight an enemy that wasn't really there. Slowly, she took in her surroundings and realized she was in the safety of her room. It had only been another dream. Fortunately, she hadn't woken her roommate.
Bev untangled herself from her sheets, she must have really been tossing and turning, and walked into the bathroom. She bent over the sink to splash cold water on her face. The lingering fear and rage were more intense than usual. She looked up from the sink at the mirror and glimpsed a figure behind her in the reflection. She turned quickly, only to see that no one was there. Her mind was playing tricks on her; that happened after the worst dreams.
Bev pulled a robe on over her pajamas and stepped into her slippers. Getting properly dressed could wait. She needed to get away from that room where she'd had her dream to clear her mind. She made her way down to the kitchen; she planned on making a snack unhealthy enough to make Richie proud and Eddie disappointed. She would probably call one or both of them later for support. She needed a friend.
Bev heard someone behind her and this time she didn't panic. There was no sense of fear, in fact, she felt a little comforted. She looked over and saw Bill. As if he knew she was there or he was hungry. Either way, she was glad to see him. "Hey."
