"Ah," she said giving a nod of understanding. "I've only seen a few movies since I've been here, it's not something we're big on back at home," Teresa told Stiles. "Maybe you can watch one with me some time?" she suggested, "show me what I've been missing?"
Teresa was glad to know there were people who knew what to do if the fox got brought here, but she was also happy to know that she might have helped Stiles a little. "We should have a secret code-word, so that I know it's you in there," she said, mostly teasing, but also semi-serious. "Can it read your mind, or can you hide things from it?" she wanted to understand how it worked so that, if it happened, she could help her new friend. "Did I mention I also like to know how things work? it's a thing too," Teresa told him with a soft chuckle. "If it happens, I'll help any way I can, just tell me what to do," she said resting her hand on his arm in reassurance.
She'd noticed the pattern with the events too, "and it seems to respond to the traditional holidays of the majority of the people here," Teresa added to Stiles' summation. "Maybe there'll come a time when we just end up living here, without having to worry about the weird events," she suggested. "They do make things interesting, but also more dangerous," she said with a sigh. "You went back, didn't you?" Teresa said looking at him and frowning. "I saw you talk about it. Was it hard, being back here?"
