Sypha had been afforded a few days to try and acclimate to her situation. She hadn't bothered asking anyone how to leave. She was taking it as a break and would try and figure out the specifics later. It turned out that many on the network, they called it, were concerned, but some just seemed to exist calmly? She'd been going back as far as she could late into the night and reading up on what had happened before she'd arrived. She wondered, as one man had, if she also had died. Was this some weird sort of Purgatory? She didn't believe this was a form of punishment. She also hadn't been outside. She'd settled into her blue robes again, ready to head out and explore the island. There was the desire to ask Stephen to accompany her. He'd been an interesting companion since her arrival and there was so much more she wanted to learn from and about him. That, of course, would be for another time. She needed a full lay of her surroundings. There was still the idea of them turning Dracula's castle into an inn. It would make so much sense. And with the addition of Saint Germain...it would explain the people from what appeared to be different times as well. She'd just reached the bottom floor and was adjusting the collar of her robe when she elevator doors opened to reveal the lobby and the very familiar back of a man standing across it. |
