Sypha & Abra
Sypha had been engaged in several conversations. As a Speaker, she'd moved around enough to read and gauge people's reactions to her and try to word things in a way that brought more information from whomever she was conversing with. It was a skill and also a habit. Her need to know things, especially when she felt adrift was insatiable. Even so, she understood it was not for everyone and backed off when she noticed they were pulling back. Some people enjoyed their privacy and she could respect that.
One of those people had not been the girl who had suddenly popped up beside her. A smile spread across her lips at the sight of Abra. She'd been immensely helpful and wiser than she'd expect from a young woman such as herself. "Oh, and what kind of pie would you say compliments it best?" she said, a little near her limit, but not quite there yet.
