Sypha & Strange
Stephen leaned in a bit, utterly fascinated. Yep, that sorcerer in him was nerding out. Information and spells passed down purely through word of mouth? What? He was curious to know what would happen if any of those magicians had a bad memory, or remembered something incorrectly.. Or perhaps, what wasn't a problem at all where Sypha came from. In a way, it might have seemed silly not to write things down. However, it was a great way to preserve secrets. Spells could never fall into the wrong hands if they were forever preserved in select minds only. Which was delightfully smart.
"Oh, I don't think you can go wrong. I'm pretty sure everything on this table will be delicious. However, if you like bacon, you have to try this.." Strange paused, pointing towards Loki's bacon-wrapped asparagus, "My friend made this and they're a great cook. You won't be disappointed." Stephen paused a second time, maybe thinking too hard on calling Loki his friend. They were more than that, for sure, but the answer as to what had never really been decided on..
Strange was fast to pull his attention back to the conversation, collecting a plate of his own. "Do you have Thanksgiving where you come from, Sypha?" Something that would have normally felt like a stupid question, but considering the wide range of realities that the guests came from, Strange didn't feel it was that outlandish to ask.
