Lila didn't mind a bit of disorder. She'd been surprised to hear about the patrols, though. Usually, these types were quick to jump into action, suppressing any hope of chaos or even just fun. She wondered yet again what kind of people she was trapped here with. Which naturally led to wondering how much longer she'd be at the hotel. Not a very productive thought, but one she'd ruminating on for... well, the entire time she'd been here. What was there for her out in the world wasn't ideal, but it felt better than having no options.
The demonstration was more fascinating, and more opportunity to try and mimic the power. She didn't bother to hide the way she was studying Ava's powers, not if she was going to freely do it in front of Lila.
Jumping a bit at the poke, she tried for a demonstration of her own, figuring she could just go for it one last time, even though she honestly didn't think it would work. Tightening her grip on the mug, she tried to pass her hand through it, both because it was right there and because she was curious if she'd feel the heat still. When nothing happened, her brow furrowed. "Didn't work."
