Who: Loki & Stephen Strange.
Where: The roof.
When: Sunday around 3PM.
What: Strange has been missing.
Status: Completed.
Warnings: Just smoochin'.
The sanctum had been untouched. Everything, exactly how he'd left it months ago. Every book, every scroll.. The calendar still showed the same day he'd left. How could this be? Wong said Stephen hadn't been gone at all. His friend wondered if something was wrong, if Strange was hallucinating.. Had he been dabbling in questionable spells again? But Strange would love to know how he imagined nearly three months in a pocket dimension, complete with complications and attachments.. Everything that followed would change him. Thanos had won. The stones were lost. And everything had been dark for five years. Richie had been correct in his tarot reading: things had not panned out well for Stephen. But in the end, life was restored, except for one very important life. Stephen had been at a funeral when his surroundings changed once again. Initially, he assumed he was the recipient of a terrible prank. Or maybe, his mind was playing tricks on him. Who knew what sort of glitches his brain was capable of after being deceased. But no, after seven years, he had been returned to that fucking hotel. And he would have been angry about it, if it weren't for one thought.. Loki. How long had it been in hotel's timeline? A month? A year? Several years? There was a calendar, but from what he could recall, everything was unreliable in this blessed place. Stephen's pulse beat rapidly as he tried to think. Would Loki even still be here? If so, where would they be? Their room? Stephen tried there first, but no luck. Which caused his heart to sink a little. But there were still plenty of places to check. Maybe the roof? That sling ring portal was a touch sloppy. His hands were shaking from his nerves. He wasn't sure if he would find Loki here, but he wouldn't give up until he had searched every corner of the grounds twice over. |
