Ava didn't know much about ancestors or war, was of the opinion that fights shouldn't be some traditional thing passed down from generation to generation, and that enemies should be made from birth. She had tried to carry on her father's feud with Hank Pym, and almost ruined everything in her path. But without the cultural context, she really couldn't judge. Just quietly of the opinion that maybe the both Din and Bobby were better off here, away from all that. Even if this place did have some dangers of its own. "Don't think any amount of bounty would be worth trading in your humanity."
She had made mistakes of her own, had to carry that guilt with her now. But Ava would never take her personal choice for granted again. She was relieved her own missions had never involved a child. She smiled softly down at Bobby when it was pointed out he was falling asleep, eyes crinkled in amusement. It was a theme park and the kid rather nap, but perhaps he had tired out chasing the bugs through the grass.
"Me?" she replied, slightly surprised to be entrusted with such a responsibility. She had never taken care of kids before, hadn't even been raised alongside any others. But she knew how difficult it was to trust, after the story he shared with her. Ava nodded. "Whenever you need a break, sure." Raising a kid couldn't be easy alone.
They were passing by the entrance to a ride, and Ava stopped, grabbed Din by the elbow of his sleeve to catch his attention. "Have you gone on that?"
