The trikeosaur didn't seem all that bothered by them being there and it was probably used to the gyro-spheres the same way that animals back home were used to people walking up to the glass that caged them. This was the same, but in an opposite effect kind of way.
But playing with it was probably just as ill advised as it was to think that a hippo was cute. Except, well, Gwen was a wall-crawler. Still. "Maybe we wait on that.
