Elena is glad he doesn't flinch when she lays her head against his shoulder. "I've always wanted to go to NYC. I really want to see a Broadway Play. Mind if I come with you?" She teases him, although she is serious to a degree.
The flames of the fire dance against the logs, reds and yellows and green fingers pleasure the wood with their warmth. The friendly crackle and pop encourage the flames toward the sky.
"I'd love to show you Mystic Falls, except it is monster central. It's a beautiful little town with a lot of secrets. To be honest, now that I think about it, really think about it, I wouldn't go home. I'm not sure where I'd go," she said honestly.
