It helped to see that Dean wasn't either a) a zombie or b) banged up so bad you couldn't recognize him. Sure, she had heard some stories about the Winchesters back home from other hunters, but it was different to see their resilience in person. Dean and Sam had to have a horseshoe up their ass or something.
There was almost a slight hesitation before she closed the distance between them and hugged him. She went for medium strength just incase he had bruises she couldn't see. She lingered there for a moment before she pulled back and then punched Dean in the arm. "Don't do something stupid like that again." She sounded annoyed, but her eyes gave the worry away.
