Miguel & Ava
"That's a sentence I never thought I'd hear," she laughed, but agreed. Much tastier than real brains, she could only speculate. She didn't really want to imagine what real brains actually would taste like, probably mushy. Or spongy? Nope nope nope. She pushed it out of her own brain.
Ava usually wasn't much of a drinker, had little opportunity in her life to do so. And definitely never went out drinking and so trying to play catch up and down as many as possible just to try them probably wasn't the wisest course, so the helpful tip from Lyla that maybe they needed to pace themselves a bit better was appreciated. She nodded in thanks, tried to find just regular water on the table before offering Miguel. The alcohol in her own system at least eased up a lot of the anxiousness she usually felt, made it easier to flow with the party than feel too tense by everything going on around her. It was a bit of fun, really. And the company helped.
