"There's one that looks a bit like brains," she informed Miguel with a small hint of glee. And while the unnatural colors and general look of it probably should have been offputting, it just made Ava want to try it even more.
"If you bite," she teasingly warned as she spun to face him again, "I'll bite back harder." She made a few chomping motions with her arms.
She let herself be directed back toward the table of goodies, would probably mind most people trying to steer her by the elbow but comfortable enough with Miguel. And it was probably better his hand on her arm than the other way around, given that last time she accidentally triggered the webs. Though at least random spider webs at a Halloween party would be easy enough to play off.
"What do you think it tastes like, though?" she asked, slightly suspicious of the purple that must have been a large amount of food coloring to achieve that hue. "Grape?" And if they were going to test more without getting overly sloshed, it was probably best to keep sharing instead of having one each. Right? But she didn't like making assumptions for other people. "One or two?"
