Bev held onto the hug as long as Bill would let her and then slowly let go. "I know. I think we all missed each other." No matter how successful she'd been, she'd always felt a void in her life that she couldn't fill. "We would have been happier if we'd had each other." That felt too heavy for Bill's current state.
