Bev walked along methodically as she looked for Bill, skipping over any areas that her friends were checking out. She skipped the carnival too; Bill wouldn't be hanging around any place with clowns. She eventually stopped to watch how the light hit the chocolate waterfall and river as the sun set. That might make for a gorgeous picture, perhaps Bill was sketching it out. She walked down to the river's edge. No Bill.
Bev kept walking, towards the forest which had fewer colors and a creepier look than the rest of the candyworld. Perfect for a horror writer who sketched with a pencil. She stood at the edge of the forest, using the glow from the jack-o-lanterns to see through the darkness. The sight of the little sour candy witches sparked a memory in her, another detail from her dream. A witch, looking like Pennywise when It took on the form of Mrs. Kersh and hungry like Pennywise too.
Bev turned away from the forest when she heard the sound of nearby footsteps and breathed a sigh of relief. Her friend was there, wandering on his own and not in the belly of a witch. "Bill?" She called out to him. "There you are."
