Laura had watched them all file in and gave them all a greeting. It wasn't nearly as warm as the one Jean had afforded Emma, but it was enough in her mind. She'd sat on the bed, allowing them to take the chairs in their room for their comfort. Her legs were crossed and she waited patiently for them to all arrive.
"In my universe all three of you are trusted teachers and headmasters or former headmasters of Xavier's School," she said nodding to the man who had just entered. While she wasn't telepathic, there were other ways to read them, and their body language and scents gave much away. They weren't afraid of her. Her mind tacked on the word "yet" at the end, annoyingly so, but she pushed the feeling of apprehension down and continued.
If she was nervous, her body didn't give it away. She looked relaxed where she sat as she continued to speak clearly. "When I attended Xavier's, Logan had brought me there in hopes that I could learn to live a normal childhood after the way that I was raised." She felt that it was only fair that she gave them some sort of warning for what she planned to do.
"I was raised as an experiment to be a weapon and I still have some...programming in me that cannot be undone." The more she spoke the more it sounded like a report than a confession. "I brought you here so you could see what was done and how--" there was a pause as she lowered her eyes. "--how much of a threat I can be."
