Daphne had taken a bit of time to get there, if she were honest. She'd checked her bag about five times to make sure she had everything, but not in her usual make-up bag, which would have been easier. No, she had to go full experience and throw it into the pouch tied to the side of her oversized leather belt. She really wanted to keep all of this, and hoped she could. It was much more fun than she'd expected, especially after the whole Nightmare in Wonderland-ness that was a little over a week ago.
She'd been going over her 'hello', which was stupid, because she'd already said 'hi' to him before, but that was before he agreed that it was a date. That meant he liked her back and she was going to his room and this was like a thing.
Raising her hand to knock, she watched it open and stared straight at the chest in front of her. This was not Gecko's body. She knew that immediately as her gaze lifted up to the face attached to it. "Oh, you're..." she started, but stopped. He was really really hot and she started to get warm. "Hi." This was Gecko's roommate, right? She'd been taken off guard by his accent and his lashes were so long and thick they looked like his eyes were just naturally lined. She was totally jealous. "Hi," she said again.
