Mary was still trying to process everything as she exited the elevator on the lobby floor. She didn't understand how she came to be here. After all, though Mary hadn't said anything to Dean, she was absolutely sure she was dead. That Jack had killed her with a single thought. Yet, she was here and she was certain she wasn't dead or a ghost. The only thing she could think of was that she had been pulled here through some cross-dimensional portal someone had accidentally opened up...or on purpose. Being that she was a hunter and a Winchester, Mary believed it was the latter, but that still left the question of who had actually pulled her here and why.
Mary scanned the lobby, but it looked the same as when she had initially arrived. No change. Same desk. Same login screen, waiting for the next arrival with the same puzzling questions that plagued Mary's mind. She was one guard though, pushing herself to say in there here and now and not let herself become wrapped up in her thoughts. Dean was on his way and this place could still be filed with threats to herself and her family. She had no weapons on her, but Mary was resourceful if nothing else. She could fight her way out if it called for it.
But there was no need.
She heard the door open and she turned, gaze falling on her oldest son, Dean and she felt her heart clench in her chest. "Dean..." Before she could say anything else, he was wrapping her up in a tight embrace. Mary was only stunned momentarily before she wrapped her arms around him in return, hugging him just as tightly to her. She really thought that was it for her back there. She really thought she would never see her boys again. That it was over. She buried her head in his shoulder.
"Dean, hey..." Something happened. She knew it in her heart. In every fiber of her being. There were tears in his eyes before he buried his face in her hair. His voice barely a whisper as he said it was good to see her. She knew it. She'd left them again. She left her boy again. "It's good to see you too."
