The outside shifted and waved with the wind, long strands of tree-branches brushing ominously against her skin as she ventured deeper off the beaten path.
A caress that chimes in her ears and flows past her cheeks in unending incomprehension. The sounds slowly grow muted. The wind begins pressing in.
And then another; behind her. Louder. Groaning and creaking and shrieking. A great metal machinery heaving its way toward her, limbs and teeth stretched out viciously.
