"I've never heard of them before," she replied honestly, thankful that he opted to continue his explanation. "Into both guys and girls?" Daphne was slowly picking up what he was putting together. It was such a weird concept, but he did say it was rare where he came from. Maybe it was rare where she came from too?
Turning off the water, she put the pot on the stove and turned on the burner. Still couldn't look at him. She'd been surprised at how disappointed she felt. She only talked to him a few times and this was their first meeting face to face and she was being weird now. "Just into guys myself," she threw in, trying not to be awkward. She was probably failing horribly. "Do you have to be with like one of each to be bi? Kind of like a weird triangle thing?" She cringed. "Sorry, not weird. You're not weird." More cringe. "I don't think you're weird. Just different and new?" That felt better.
